Privacy policy

This site belongs to Randy Too (randytoo.com). Here is what happens to your information when you visit or get in touch, written in plain language rather than legalese.

What I collect

The only information you actively give me comes through the contact form. When you fill it in, I receive your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to write in your message. Nothing more.

Like almost every website, the server also records standard technical details each time a page loads, such as your IP address, your browser type, and the pages you view. This is ordinary web-server activity and I do not use it to identify you.

How I use it

Your contact details exist for one reason. So I can read your message and reply to you. Submissions arrive in my inbox and are kept in the site database so nothing gets lost. I do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and I do not hand it to anyone for marketing.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and use the pages. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (for example, one named _ga) so it can tell a returning visit from a new one and measure how the site is performing. That data is processed by Google as my analytics provider, under Google’s own terms.

If you would rather not be counted, you can install Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block and clear cookies for this site in your browser settings. Beyond analytics, the site sets only the essential cookies it needs to work.

Where your data lives

The website and its database run on managed hosting on my behalf. The contact form is handled by a form tool that stores entries in the same database and emails them to me. These providers process the data only to keep the site running, never for their own purposes.

Your choices and rights

You stay in control of what you have shared. Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me at [email protected] and I will take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If the way I handle data changes, I will update this page and revise the date below.
